Tech Start-Up in the Recruitment Space

The Project:

Blog Content Creation & Content Plan

The Brief:

Design and create a new blog to help Ablely differentiate themselves in the busy recruitment space

The Story:

Ablely are a new company entering the recruitment software space who are looking to do things a little differently and shake-up the sector.

They approached me asking for help to design and create an engaging and authentic blog for their new content marketing strategy. Ablely weren’t just looking to sell their product, they were looking to create an engaged community around their brand. To do so, they needed to build a bank of valuable content to support their target audience.

Together, we were able to refine Ablely’s target audience and build strong customer profiles for whom to create their content. This formed the basis of the content plan, a detailed plan and calendar covering six months of blog content for Ablely to launch with. I now write blog posts for Ablely on a monthly basis, meaning they never need to worry about what to post again!

“When I spoke to Pip on our discovery call, it was clear that she knew what she was talking about. I was looking for content that went beyond just reading nicely, I wanted to create something that had substance. Pip’s digital marketing background means that she has been able to deliver structure and strategic insights to all aspects of our work.

Pip showed a willingness to research and learn new things, and then weave these into our content. She already had an understanding of our space but was willing to continue to develop that, ensuring that each piece of content is relevant, topical and researched.

Pip’s writing style is everyday and relatable. She writes in an engaging way, rather than presenting a technical analysis. On top of that, she is energetic, always comes up with new ideas and works at a good pace. Pip is creative and easy going but still manages to get the job done. I leave each of our calls with fresh ideas and inspiration not just for our content but for our marketing as a whole.
